bx hst getting warm

was out hauling gravel with my bx for about 3 hours after I was done went to wash it off noticed a little steam coming of rear end it was about 50 out today my ? is should it get warm when using and if so how warm should it get

Hydraulics get down right hot when yer working them.

That is why there are warnings about disconnecting hydraulic lines when hot!

Before I just dismissed it I would want to check it with a heat gun to see if it's really getting hot or just warm enough to steam.
