I just finished flushing the fuel tank after a nightmare of fuel contamination. Replaced the first filter. Ran great the next couple of days. Have the grapple on the FEL and it is working great with the 3rd function.

I let it parked in the field and it did rain all night. I wanted to give it a bath.
Came out this morning, hopped on and turned the key and everything seemed normal. Instruments lit up and I could hear the fuel pump, as normal. I twist the key a little harder and nothing.

Thinking the battery might be down, I strung up the extension cord and charged it. The charger reported full charged in less than 5 minutes. Tested the headlights - strong. Checked blinkers. Everything electrical seems normal.

Tried to start. Same thing.
I know there are some safety interlocks so I sat in the seat, insure I am in neutral. No mower deck installed but PTO is up and the PTO is set for mid.

I guess I will have to trace out the current flow in the morning. Don't know where the starter and solenoid is mounted, but my first test will be to jump the solenoid and take it from there.
Any suggestions?

Move the PTO to neutral.

Try to start tractor.

If it doesn’t crank then hold the key in the start position and try to move the HST pedal back and forth slowly through the neutral position, then keep trying to move each safety switch that you know exists by jiggling its lever, seat, pedal….ONE BY ONE.

It may start cranking and you will know which switch was the culprit stopping the crank.
