Hi,

I have a new to me BX 25 in nice shape, all the lights work except for the Hazard/Blinkers. They flash on the dash but not at the light. When I have the head light on all four bulbs in the back orange housing light up but nothing flashes, If the lights are off they don't flash either or light up.
Is there a flasher on this machine and if so where would I find it and do you guys know a replacment number so i can order one ?

Thanks

Joe, I would imagine the best place to look for the physical location will be the Work Shop Manual.

There are "gurus" here that can get/send you a copy most likely.

I am unfortunately, not one of them, but I am sure one of these fine gentlemen will be along shortly to help.

I the mean time, I would look around the "fuse box" area.

I don't have a manual for it and I have done a google search and haven't come up with anything. Are they dual or single filament bulbs that are supposed to be in it? Anyone know bulb model number?

This forum seem to have a lot of knowledge, figured Id ask someone may have dealt with the same thing.

Dual filament, and I think they're on different wires under the fenders, one for running lights and the brighter one for flashers. I think the leads come from one light (the left one?) and daisy-chains over to the other, so if a wire on one side got ripped out that could kill both lights. Since your dash is flashing the relay should be working properly and the fuse should be good, I'd think it a wiring issue, maybe just a bullet connector under the fender pulled out.

According to manual, the flasher unit is under the front dash, on the left side. In the BX WSM page 6-S22.

So they are Dual Filament? I have been researching and I can't confirm this. I'll down load the manual and make a donation.

You can get the BX25 WSM for free from www.kubotabooks.com. select tractors, scroll down to bx25.pdf....
I have it now and they are single filament bulbs ( 1156 ? ). left turn and hazard are in parallel ( tied together), same for right side.

The pita is the wiring diagram is on two pages,'fun' trying to follow the electrons.

You might have a blown fuse...will have to combine both pages, make one, print it out to see though....

Not a huge fan of electrical work, Hazards not working aren't that big of an issue for me, everything else appears to work, I haven't checked the brake lights as I just didn't think of it but I will.

I get that sporadically when blowing snow in the extreme cold…seems like a “switch” problem more than anything in my case…sometimes working the switch back and forth a few times makes them work again. No problem the rest of the “warmer” seasons.

Okay I see some models did, so the red lights on the fender are just regular driving light.

BX25 Manual shows it as 2 separate bulbs (Hazard and Turn), each single filament, but wired in parallel...

From what I can find, they are the common 1156 type of automotive bulb
