I screwed up today when starting my tractor. The ring on my keys got wedged on the plastic housing around the ignition switch and the glow plugs remained active (the key was unable to return to the natural position) for 5-10 minutes while I was warming the tractor up. I didn't realize the issue until I returned to the tractor to start using it.

The tractor ran fine the rest of the day. I know the book says not to activate the glow plugs for more than 10 seconds at a time.... I am curious if my error only risked damaged to the glow plugs themselves or is there anything else I need to be concerned about?

Thanks in advance.

Could have fried the glow plugs and / or the relay that runs them. ;)
If it didn't pop any fuses then you probably dogged the bullet.
