Would like to install an OEM Kubota engine block heater. Do all model Kubota's take the same heater? or is it specific to the model....If so what is the Kubota part number for a BX23S.....

I think everyone, including myself, are unintentionally confusing the heck out of you!it's a freeze plug replacement for that model.. I've been around quite some time and I never heard of a freeze out plug that was threaded

It looks like this is a freeze plug design and not the desired threaded type.

Go take a quick peek under the hood (left side), you should have a plugged hole like this (in yellow) 17mm Allen wrench. Heater is P/N 70000-73274
Ona BX tractor, the left side of the engine is on the right side of the tractor as the engine is mounted backward. The threaded hole for the block heater is on the righthand side of the tractor.Here are two good posts on the situation:
