Hey, new to the forum... I was attempting to adjust the wiggle of my mower deck, but the adjustment assembly (bolt and bracket) don't seem to be connected anywhere and just kind of rattles around. are the any threads here about that issue or does anyone have any wisdom on the subject?

What bolt and bracket?
My BX2380 deck is only fastened by the two 'drop-down' arms at the rear (the lift/lower mechanism) and the sort of "large U-Bolt" at the front that connects the front of the deck to the front frame of the tractor.
Leveling of the deck is done by adjusting the nuts at the front, and at the lowering arm attachments at the rear.
Where is the bolt and bracket you're talking about?
Do you have the manuals for the tractor (WSM and 'Owner's Manual')?? There should also be a separate manual for the deck.

The bolt and bracket are behind the left side rear wheel just below the seat. the adjustment raises the deck to meet the stops on the frame and reduces the deck wobbling in the up position. I do have the manuals and am searching them now....
There's and adjustment procedure for that in the WSM. It's pretty temperamental to do.
Appreciate the reply... Yes, I was able to follow all the steps, however the bracket is not stationary, nor is it connected to anything, and the bolt has no landing place, so it can travel full length and not adjust anything. My question is about what the bolt should actually be pushing against... again, right now the is nothing for the bolt to land on or push on.... there doesn't seem to be anything broken off either. Any help is appreciated.
