1st upgrade, is my floor mat can i upgrade to a thick rubber one that is on outer BXs? my orig floor mat rubber is thin and tears easy, yea i know it must be standard on larger BX's .prefer OEM floor mat
2nd upgrade, light guards for my ROPs turn signals i all ready hit a tree limb and knocked off the light lens lucky they did not break
3rd up grade, ROP storage box i asked my dealer and i was told no longer available

Light guards for your ROPS turn signals may be a little difficult to cash in but you may want to try putting a tie wrap around the lenses to help keep them on. After I lost my lenses a time or two, I placed a tie wrap around the center of the lenses and I have not lost one so far this year.

Stutrac, what model do you have? I reads like you have a 1870-1 but you are asking about upgrading to the heavier/thicker mat. The 1870-1 uses the new heavier/thicker floor mat.
So if you have an older model 1870/1860 and want to upgrade to the newest mat, it will fit the earlier tractors. There is a YouTube video on this (although on the BX25) by Paul Short.

The light assembly is designed to come apart instead of breaking when you hit some thing. The brittle parts are the lenses. The frame holding the lenses and bulbs is flexible. When you hit something the frame flexes, releasing the lenses so the force do not crack them.

First time I hit the light saw parts on the ground and thought needed to buy a new light. But it all popped back together good as new.

I think the easiest thing for the rops mounted toolbox is just getting a 30 cal ammo can and the taking off the bracket that mounts to the Rops that holds your orange triangle and drill a couple holes in the ammo can and mount it to the bracket that the triangle is supposed to go on you can even use the carriage bolts that were there at least that's what I did. As for the floor mat I bet someone swiped it at the dealer and upgraded there 60 series

This is exactly what I did yesterday. [emoji41]

Well, I learned something new - the mats for the 1870 and 2370 are different. As you know, one is light duty - the other heavy duty.

For the 1870-1 the p/n is K2731-55312 $51.99 at Messick's
the 2370-1 it is p/n K2771-55332 $127.79.

Seems like a waste in parts management/stocking to have two different mats for essentially the same tractor body.

looking at both tractors it looks like the heavy duty would fit may have to do some trimming, but it would work i will lay the one on my tractor over the heavy duty and trim as needed if i have to.
