I am looking at buying a used 2018 L2501 DT model (22 hours). The folks have the bill of sale and cant find any other of their paperwork on it. Does Kubota still standby the 6 year drivetrain warranty in this type of situation does any of you good folks know? Thank you very much.

Going out on a limb and say, don't worry about it... worst case is the clutch goes bad and it's not covered anyway. Other than that, you would be the first with a problem.

If you really want to know, you'll really have to ask a dealer...

I was told the warranty follows the tractor, but service records may be required for some claims. I purchased my tractor used and had the warranty switched to my dealer.

If they have bill of sale, contact the dealer they bought from and ask them. So long as that dealer has records then I'd expect the warranty to follow.

It is my understanding the warranty goes with the tractor, not the owner. If the maintenance schedule has been followed and documented in some way the dealer should honor the remaining warranty. You may wish to confirm with the dealer. As stated above there is absolutely no warranty on the clutch.
