Busy few days with the BX2200

The BX has earned its keep the past week. First I had an area of the yard that had been where the farmers piled their rocks. No mater how many bucket fulls I pulled out they were never ending. Ended up using the FEL and digging down about 2ft to get them all out.

I also had a few ruts in the hard from getting both the tractor and the Excursion stuck. If you need a laugh you can search for that thread.

Along with that I needed to build up the area for my 2 year garden (area I cleared, leveled and tilled with the BX last year)

So in comes the truth-axle with 20 tons of top soils.

Went to moving dirt. Spread a bunch in the garden area. Especially in the low parts.

I also filled the crater from the rock pit. The tire ruts as-well as some other low areas

The crater had filled up with water, so filling it was interesting

I also picked up this 48” box blade for it, so I hooked it up and smoothed out the gravel drive. Quite a few pot holes etc. turned out good. I still have the rest of the parking area to do.

of that I mowed my 3 acres twice, seeded the lawn filled areas, covered them in straw, tilled and planed the garden and then went and picked this up for the wife….I get a box blade and she gets a Jeep. Not sure if that equals out…lol

Also unloaded and moved the box scraper around a few times with the BX bucket hooks and chains. Definitely a back saver vs wrestling it.

Probably. I did an oil and hydraulic fluid/filter change before the dirt arrived. Figured maintenance is key.
