Hi, tractor owners! I am a new kubota owner having bought a bulltra b1-17 4x4 last week. I am from Greece, and all gray market tractors cannot be driven outside farms hence cannot be registered. However even that is the case i did look for the serial numbers of the tractor. The frame has a 'b1600dt 72724' carved on its side. The serial number of the engine is really well hidden, i haven't found it. My question is regarding the 'b1600' part of the frame serial number. I always knew that this was an older model of the Kubota gray market range, and therefore i am a little anxious to know whether this is normal or whether the tractor is a mix of various tractors. If anyone has knowledge regarding these matters please post in my topic. Thank you

That should mean it's a B1600DT model and a serial # of 72724.
and yes a lot of those tractors were built with a combination of parts!

Leafy England....
Nothing wrong with these kubota tractors, they are built to the same level of quality as non- gray market models.
After all, what is a grey market kubota tractor, it is still a kubota just marketed for a specific part of the world and also to meet those specific requirements etc.

Bulltra's are excellent machines, and to clear up this whole differing parts thing, they are not made from different machines parts etc.
They are made from parts that are shared between numerous models, gray market or not. It the same as B6100/7100 etc also B6200/7200,8200 etc etc and the list goes on and on with all kuboat models, they all share the similar parts , even the same, just like yours.

don't get hung up on this grey market thing, its a kubota full stop and the quality is the same what ever model you have.
