A 12 volt HF fuel transfer pump and I think a 15 or 20 gallon drum off market place, it makes it easy to move with the HF dolly, was all under 100 bucks. You could go for a 55 gal drum mount it on a drum catty and still be under 100 bucks I would think. Im not sure what the flow rate is , but you dont want to get distracted. I went with the small drum that way there is always fresh or pretty fresh fuel and at least in my mind was a good idea.

I got the parts. First length of fuel hose to use as a joint was too large (1-1/2" ID Opps!) Got a length of 1-1/4" ID, tight in the nipple almost as tight on the fuel rig tank. Should be good.
Had a 4" nipple, chopped the threads off one end, a little filing. Cut the hose to length. Four Banjo clamps, one will be up high on the nipple, one will be where the nipple and tank pipe meet to stiffen that further, a third\ right below and one done low. Should be plenty rigid and secure.
I'll be running a ground bond wire from the pump the rig. Then a second ground wire to a clamp. Extra safe.

Have the bottom adapter for the Fill-Rite pump on the nipple. Used a little PTFE tape (cue the complaints) then my pipe wrench with a layer of rubber (to prevent marring the nipple). Cranked down plenty tight.
A film of oil on the inside of the rubber hose, got the rubber hose on the nipple with a little force. Banjo clamps I have are just a tad small, ordered the next size up.

I was thinking..... the Banjo clamp I'm going to put on there the two pipes meet in the center to stiffen, is there such a thing as a double wide Double Banjo clamp? Something like 3" wide with two clamp bolts? I could of sworn I've seen them but cannot recall what they are called.
Like this but a Banjo?

Finally got what I needed and finished it. Took to the gas station and filled with Diesel. Getting it in and out of the truck was easy, my tie downs held it secured.
I did clip the grounding clamp to my truck. The pump has its' own ground to the fueling station tank. The pump is grounded via an internal wire in the hose. Safety first.
When I put the pump on, the connecting hose was so flexible and the weight of the pump so great, it sort of flopped over. No bueno.Hence the triangle of angle straps. Now it is rock solid.
Both the mower and my Kubota have outlets, used mostly for a battery maintainer but the fueling rig can get power from them as well.
I also found a cap in my box of 'saved caps because you never know when you might need one' When done fueling. power off, lifting the nozzle up will drain it back in, so residual in the nozzle is insignificant.
Works like a champ!
