Now THAT is a nice cab. I also didn't notice if he said how many hours he had in it's construction, but the final result was worth every minute. He is obviously a very skilled craftsman and metalworker and should be duly proud of the result.
I've been looking for a cab for my BX2230, and I'm not sure about one of the canvas cabs over a metal frame. Nor do I want to spend $4K on a fiberglass cab. I can get tubing from a local supplier that sells overrun and excess stock tubing, angle and sheet at really reasonable prices. I may check with him to see what he has that would work for a project like this. I have all the metal working tools and mig and tig welders, so the fabrication isn't a problem.
Going to have to do some measuring, figuring and thinking about this....
