I’ve got a L4802 with a BH92 that has a pin-on 18” trenching bucket and a hydraulic thumb. I don’t see a lot of different bucket options available. I’d like to have a grading/ditch bucket. Any suggestions? It looks like an assache to swap out pin-on buckets with a hydraulic thumb so maybe someone can set me straight by telling me this is a bad idea to begin with.

i just had a narrow small trenching bucket with no teeth made for my bh92. my dealer contacted the company that makes oem buckets for the bh92 and had it made for me. it wasnt what i would call cheap but there really isnt another choice i could find. ran me 1200 for it but it beats the min excavator rental fees over time for all the trenching and horse obstacle building i need to do. mine is a qd bh92 but it can go eitber way

Curious, so I looked on the CDN Kubota parts finder website, they list, 12-16-18-24-20 and 36" buckets and they have pinned on teeth.
I'm not allowed access to the Kubota.USa website ,but I assume they have them ?

I had a great transaction with these folks, and a top notch product. To be fair, my bh uses the same quick attach bucket as the KX-040 mini ex, but they sent me engineering drawings with all dimensions to verify fit. Good Luck!

I'm not sure I understand the question...

Wouldn't just replacing the teeth with a cutting edge if you want all the spoils to end up in the bucket
or
Wouldn't you just replace the teeth with a grading edge if you are just smoothing and not necessarily? wanting all the spoils to be in the bucket?
or
add a crumbling edge or squeeegee edge to the bucket width best suited for the job?
