Nope, it's a new one to me, and looks to be a nice tool... but it appears to be a single-use tool. By that I mean, after you've cut and stacked your scrub, it would be time to return it to the rental yard or to sell it. Cutting the same area next year could be done with a flail or brush hog, or even a finish mower, couldn't it?

Shaun, I use the ASV, commercially, and also there are no rental yards around here that have them, that I know of, anyway. Just a business risk, to offer a new service, that no one else does. Question is is can I generate enough work?:D

I've used a ratchet rake on my bucket for small trees and brush. Has two sets of teeth, one for pushing/cutting and a set on bottom for dragging/piling.

Ah, a very different matter for you than for me, but the same issue: availability and return on investment. I expect that if you were to do the job in the video, you'd pay back the cost of the beast.

Funny thing about new tools: amazing how many uses we find for them. This forum is liberally sprinkled with, "I don't know how I got by without ____!" (I'm not trying to goad you into buying it! I'm sure it's horribly expensive, yet you prolly can both find ways to use it, and sell the services. You have the luxury of doing the selling now and buying the nasty gobbler when you get a paying job for it.)

Anybody ever try one, or see one working? Thinking about putting on on my ASV RC30...

Interesting attachment. I do commercial work and have 100 acres of which have a lot of brush/small trees I'd like to remove. I wonder how well it would work on an M5140 (w/1153 FEL).

Well it seems you would get repeat business out of it. Since it appears to cut the brush down and not remove roots of the brush thus you'll get called back every couple of years
