I built this brush guard for my L6060. The factory one was just for looks. I needed something that would protect my grill and radiator. I had it sprayed with bed liner material rather than painted for durability......

Looks great - does it affect the lighting much?

Not sure. I wouldn't think so... I will have to try it some night.

My brother built on similar to yours though not quite as refined. We will try to build one like the below for our M8540 this winter, design is from Richard (ovrszd) on TBN. My brother also put brush guards on mine.

We had to add rubber isolation to eliminate resonance. During construction pictures:

Nice limb risers and roof rack.

PS- For archive purposes so others can steal... I mean borrow :p your ideas in the future... please upload pictures to here instead of hosting them somewhere else. 99% of the time hosted somewhere else pics become misplaced making great info... useless.

Think you miss understood me. They are plenty visible to us on both sites "for now".

Your pic. hosting is Photobucket. Once you cancel, change, edit your Photobucket all the pics (on both sites) will no longer show up on their post. Might not happen anywhere in the next 5 years, but even 10 years from now when a newbie is searching for ideas, they will have lost chance to learn from your valuable info.

Netiquette....... it's always best to download pictures on a forum's own server; if it offers that option.

Not complaining.... just stealing a chance to educate readers.

example.... cruise this coool thread of expedition vehicle's... unfortunately though approx. 1/3rd of the pics now gone ;(

No, I understood you, they were uploaded to TBN and are archived there, but I'll find them and try to put them on here. I've done it in the past, but it threw the page formatting off; see what I can do.

The pics inside link to TBN has Photobucket pics too so at least that thread's pics are not actually archived either. Glad to hear it was archived in elsewhere and now here too.

THANKS!!!

I'll be darned, I checked the "manage attachments" on TBN and they were archived there, so I "thought" I had used them there.

Anyway, they should now be available here though the resolution is a bit small. If needed, I can get better ones posted, they sure have helped as the top on these tractors is pretty fragile, I didn't even know I had broken mine.
