Just traded my 3010 for a new L39 and with only 2hrs on the clock one of the loader bucket links broke and after being told by dealer it was going to take 3 weeks to get the new part I am wondering if the bright orange lineup is starting to fade a little. The upper links are made out of some type of cast material and the dealer said he would bet that if I looked close I would see chain marks from being tied down incorrectly and sure enough I went back and looked and it definitely appears to have been chained down across loader links. Did not have any problems with warranty and as far as I know they are the only ones that have hauled it yet but does 3 weeks sound acceptable for a part on a brand new tractor? I agreed to have it shipped to me and fix it myself since they are 150 miles away. The link broke on the opposite end from where the chain marks are and I'm hoping it's not just a weak design that is going to happen again. Anyone else know about any of these breaking?

It's not a design flaw or weakness it's a shipper tying them down wrong problem!

You should be good to go with a new link!
And yes that's normal for newer parts to take a little while to get here, they have not setup a supply of parts here yet, they are still on the boat!;)

A good dealer would have it drop-shipped to you for warrantee. A GREAT dealer would take one off of one of his in stock fleet, and have it installed asap...:D

That's what I thought to but this dealer picked up this tractor from another dealer. I checked every dealer I could find within 200 miles from me before purchasing and was told this was the only 2014 l39 that was within a reasonable distance for them to go get. Anyone really know what the availability of the L tlb are. The Kubota site says limited availability on all 3 of the models I was looking at and says contact dealer. I might have just been a victim of their advertising. I was thinking this broken piece may interchange with other loaders and they should be able to come up with one sooner than 3 weeks. I believe that is unacceptable for a corporation as big as Kubota.

I've been thinking about what you have said and so I looked it up all three links are cheap and easy to get 2-5 days from several parts dealers.
So I have a feeling your dealer is giving you the run around for some odd reason!
Which part got broken? I suspect #220

Yes indeed part #220 in the diagram. Looks like I better get on the ball and do some checking. Thanks

What dealer have you found that part available. I have checked with corporate office in California and it is on backorder. I have always had good service from Kubota equipment and just can't understand why they would sell a new tractor and not have the parts to back it up. This may be the last orange I buy or should I say orange from a lemon company.

You state that your dealer is the only one that has hauled your L39. I believe your tlb was shipped from the factory by truck in 1 piece, assembled.

Dealers driver would not have used those links to strap the tractor down.

You might think about replacing both of those links. Because, just one of the links was not used to chain the tractor down.

Yap I thought about replacing both, I need to call the dealer back and see if they will warranty both but I doubt it. They are the only ones that I know of that has hauled it but I'm sure you are right about coming from the factory.I'm not really upset with the dealer just the thought of a part for a brand new tractor being on backorder. They could have offered a loaner though until they got my part. I've tried off and on all day just to find out it was on backorder. The dealer has been great, I knew what I wanted and they delivered to home and brought paperwork with them. I didn't even go to their business this time. I would get a link made probably stronger but that may take 3 weeks also lol.
