Wife ran over a t post that came up and broke off the tip (where it plugs in, basically where the “B” is pointing to in the picture) of the SCV valve on the fuel pump on our L3901.
Wondering if I need to replace just need to replace the SCV valve (part #1J801-50540) or if this could’ve damaged the entire pump. Any advice is greatly appreciated I am not an expert on this stuff. Thanks a million.

if it's just the connector damaged, you can just replace the SCV, unless I'm mistaken. Seems like I had to replace one before I quit going Kubota but don't remember. 4701 I think.

Thanks for the advice. Is it as simple as it looks? screw it out and screw the new one in? Do I need the $1000 kubota one or will the $200 amazon one work fine ?

I would think you'll be safe with the pump. Pretty meaty housing opposed to the solenoid sticking out the side.

If amazon returnable, try it. If it works you saved 800. If not return it, drop 15yrds punt and put out 1k.

Many times the Amazon part comes from the same factory that the OEM part comes from. I found this when I needed a part for my Mercedes and chose to buy the inexpensive Amazon part rather than the expensive Mercedes part. When it arrived it was identical to the one that I had removed.

and hope it doesn't hurt the engine if it doesn't do what it's supposed to.....

HP fuel systems are really really sensitive.

No, it's not as simple as just screwing in a new sensor.
