Hi. I am new to the forum. Bought a used b2320 HST last fall . It had about 520 hrs. used it all winter with the snowblower worked fine. Put on the mower and mowed 2hrs parked it. when I went to move it bad noises from clutch, would not move.Split the tractor. Bellhousing was broke at top two studs. went to dealer for parts they checked and said a different dealer replaced bellhousing ect. at 492 hours. any idea what would cause two broken bellhousings

No even 30 hours. I would look for evidence of loose bolts, or a mis-aligned frame or loader frame. Missing hardware or brackets.
Thanks for the replies. Don't have a loader yet. Not doing anything different than I did with my wheelhorse. Everything seemed tight when I took off the bellhousing. Splines in the center of clutch gone, clutch shaft splines starting to round. might have broke the second time before I got it. Could the clutch last that long? 600 hrs. now
I have seen broken housings on cars and trucks, usually due to loose bolts or support struts removed. Engine mount issues can contribute to this too.
Got more info, previous owner was a shopping plaza. Tractor had a front blade they must have hit a curb or something wide open. The plate the bellhousing bolts to and the left side of the frame are bent. .060 gap between plate and top stud in the bellhousing
Thanks for the help. Went back to the dealer for more parts. He said he wasn't comfortable with the amount of money it was costing and was not sure if that was all that was wrong. told me he would give me all my money back. Gave me a good deal on a new B 2620. that fixed that problem
