I got a new toy to play in the snow with, Come on snow!:D
50" snow blower with wings for 60" coverage for $950
It's in really good condition and runs extremely quiet. My 36" snow blower on my simplicity sounds like a jet engine right before a crash!
We get about a foot to 2 foot every time it storms and it does that a whole lot, I've seen as much as 6' in three days.
I clean 1/4 mile of driveway and 1/4 of private road and 8 other driveways and yards off that road so that makes a snow blower worth it's weight in gold for me.
I'm going to be setting up a plow on the FEL also just for the light stuff and slush.
I need to add the Electric chute rotator tomorrow and later on I'll add an electric chute deflector adjustment too. Also am going to add rubber blades to the impeller too.

I'm also toying with adding duals to the rear of the tractor too??? Not sure on that yet. I have cleated chains for all the tires so I don't think I'll have a traction problem, But I would be happy with a little more traction and a little more bottom weigh.
Part of our driveway is at a 10% grade so it gets a little tricky getting to the house when it get snowy and icy. Next year the driveways getting moved and will only be at 4% max, so that will help a lot.;)

It looks like a good deal you got. What kind of snow blower is it? I clamp a piece of plexiglass to the rops to try to keep blowing snow off me. It is also hard on my stiff neck to back up all the time. Hopefully by winter I will have a working front mounted blower on my B7100 HST.

I started to say wow that thing is huge but it sounded like a line from a porn movie...

That makes your tractor look small, how much does it weigh.
Never really studied up on blowers ,do they suck up a lot of HP

It's a SnowMachines Corporation snow blower built like a Buell or Allied I was told it's 495lbs. It makes the front a little light right now without the FEL arms and bucket on it. But should get that fixed here soon.
It's made for a compact and requires 10 to 40HP to run it.
They pull down the HP's a little but if you take it easy they work great.

My B7100 with the blower on the back only bogs down when I use the blower to try to cut back the snow banks the state trucks leave out by the road. This is the time I wish I had an independent PTO so I could stop tractor movement without stopping the snow blower. When cutting back snow banks I use the 1st speed on the PTO. If I am just clearing the drive way or out back by the sheds I use the 2nd PTO speed. The higher speed really throws the snow.
