I filled up today and put and I think it was overfilled. There was some fuel running out from underneath the engine. I didn't think it was a big deal until I took it off the trailer and ran it for 10 minutes and there was some smoke coming out of the engine compartment. Opened the hood and there was no fire and the temp gauge was fine. I run off road fuel. Just making sure that is the only problem. I ran it earlier today (tilling) and it was all good.

Thanks in advance,

I'm sure you're fine, just cooked off the excess fuel.

If you filled it to the top with cool fuel and then the temperature increased, the fuel will expand and overflow the fill opening.

I suggest that you wash the areas where fuel spilled since it is oil and will collect dust and make a slight mess.
