I will start to use my brakes, when I grow a third leg from my ass…...

WELL LOOKIE THERE!!!

Ah, the things I learn when I actually "READ" the WSM. Was looking for something completely different and came across this random bit of knowledge.

Turns out that in the section on adjusting the peddle it shows that the tractor should stop in 10' after taking your foot off the peddle. Level surface, no brakes. Applies to the BX1880, 2380, & 2680. Probably similar with other BX models I imagine.

I dont know if there is a similar spec for the L01 but mine stops in a lot less than 10'.

The curious want to know. What ground speed and range? Does your WSM have a procedure for adjusting that distance?

All it says is if it doesn't stop in 10' your peddle needs adjusting. I would think if it springs back too far you could stop in less than 10'. Probably get real familiar with the steering wheel if you weren't holding on tight. 😉

At full speed in MED my L3901 will put you through the (metaphorical) windshield.
