Box blade suggestions for MX4800

I had a box blade on order with everything attachments but I’m pretty sure I’ll never see that blade so I need to select a different one.

I originally went with EA for their heavy duty and aggressive scarifiers which I was going to use to dig into topsoil after I clear my young stand of small trees to get the root mat out.

are there any other similar box blades out there?

Lots of good heavy box blades ( and lots of light duty also). look at the heavier Land Pride series, Bison, Woods, and others. Lots of choices. I have a Bison rear angle blade and think the built quality is fantastic. Try to find category 2 implements, and they will all be heavy duty, regardless of the brand.

Apologies if I missed it, but what’s the tractor you’ll be hooking this wagon to?

I was lucky to find a very lightly used (looked like zero use) Woods 60” box blade for my B2650. Wouldn’t want any bigger if you plan to fill it up, but it’s a very nice piece.

MX4800. It is 6’ wide on the tire treads so I was looking at 7’ blades

I had a Cat II 84" heavy duty offsetting + tilting blade for my L4610 years ago. Very versatile attachment, just guessing it was about 800 lbs. The 4610 was close in size to your MX4800, maybe a tad lighter, but it handled the blade very well. That size should be a good match for your tractor. You might be able to find something used and save vs. buying new.

I have a Woods heavy duty 7’ or 84” box blade, great product, I use it with my MX5800. Woods have great back up and spares availability
