John,
Iam intrested in , just how much , boost your getting from a turbo that's sized for a 50 hp diesel engine on an engine that's rated @ about 13.5 depending on what chart line you are quoting?
Given the size of turbo that you installed on the tiny 650 cc kubota,, you'll be lucky to blow out a candle.. Iam not Simon cowell, in fact Iam not a judge either, But I'll be suprised,.. If you can Personaly show me a 1 half pound of pressure at the manifold. I have a turbo on my desk that is a little bit larger than a 650 kubota needs,.and it's smaller than a 1 dollar bill..most people have never seen one this small. It's thee worlds smallest turbo. Any thing bigger than that,..on a stock mini series kubota engine is a waist of time and money.
Iam Not,..trying to discourage u. And maybe u can show me that Iam wrong? And prove years of research wrong. I'll be very intrested in your finding. Especially,
The documented manifold pressure tests.
?

Iam calling it a day soon, ur welcome to leave a response here anytime
That works for you, gnite. Eric.

NIW,
What are u trying to say with your panty waist reply? I've been hangin out here since 09. I don't log in unless I've got somthing I think is worth while posting.
Obvisouly you are only intrested in your post count. And while we're on the subject, do you have anything intelligent to say about the said turbo application?

Or is it, over your head? Have a good day.

Panty waist reply??????????
I don't give a hoot if you been on here since the beginning of time, You have made 7 posts in all that time and of all those posts, Zero have value! You have never even posted anything original. What is your reason for being on here??? Do you even own a Kubota?
You spout off about hey I've got the worlds smallest turbo on my desk yet you give a model of a cheap junk Chinese turbo that I wouldn't use to power my toilet!
If I need insulted I can call my Ex-wife! I certainly don't need it form you!
I've said enough on this matter!

NIW,
If you felt insulted by my reply,...well ,..Iam not gona tell u Iam sorry,. It waz just a natural response to a yah hoos response to a post I made. If you had any thing intelligent to say about the turbo subject, you blew it,..instead your post only showed disrespect and immaturity. If I want to listen to that kinda shit chat I'd tune into one of today's stupid reality shows.
If memory serves me correctly,.. Your the guy that installed a 125 amp alternator on a b7100?,.....lololol, even. {IF}. You had a need for it,..you couldn't drive it successively with the ill belt an pully setup that is standard equipment on that tractor.
So I see no reason to suggest that you could offer any thing of value to sizing a turbo to any thing.!..and that includes ,..your toilet.

The 125 amp alternator install works perfectly on the 21.5 HP D950 NON TURBO! Yes it's overkill, but it was just hanging around doing nothing and I needed something to keep up with the 800watts of lights.

The only reply I have to Johnb6100 putting a turbo onto his tractor, well I guess he had money to waste!

Please come back again in another 2 years to again show us your superior knowledge of turbo charging something... Oh wait you haven't done that???

NIW ,
Bah. Haaaa. Your 125 amp alternator works perfectly, ??....lololol..
Kinda like if I needed to replace the seat on my B7200, I'll just cut the fenders off and install a love seat that's just layin around that I'm not usin.
30 or so years ago I built a engine drivin alternator charger, 3.5 hp Briggs belt drive to a 43 amp. Gm delco alternator. It was a regular maintence thing just keepin the belt tight. And would bring the like new 3.5 hp engine to its knees when fully loaded. I built this engine charger to maintain the 12 volt battery powered lights in my mobile shop trailer.
given my experience in what ive done is given me a opinion to some other alternator applications.,..and most mechanical orientated people that have ever hooked up a set of jumper cables car to car and hear the engine draw down,..
That should tell you something. Iam guessing that a 50 amp alternator draws atleast 5 hp ,..and a 100 amp alt draws at least 10 hp etc, etc. Iam guessing, Iam sure there are some fact based sites like arcs and sparks that will prove true hp to amp requirements.
The one thing Iam not guessing on is my experiences with turbocharging high performance engines. Specifically tractor pulling engines.
Now there's a good place to putup OR shut up!..but it's probably over your head..

As far as owning a kubota,..Iam addicted to kubotas
I have the following .
4 482s
1 662
2 722s
2 850s
1 950
3 1505s

Only 2 of them don't run.

Have a nice day,
