Try a 30mm socket.OK I got 1 1/4 to big, 1 1/8 to small,, yeah I know 1 3/16 right,, nope it almost fits but is sloppy,, I hate using an adjustable wrench on things if I don't have to,, soo is this thing a metric or what??
I change probably hundreds of them per year and have always used a 1-3/16 socket! BTW proper torque and good belville washers are very important!OK I got 1 1/4 to big, 1 1/8 to small,, yeah I know 1 3/16 right,, nope it almost fits but is sloppy,, I hate using an adjustable wrench on things if I don't have to,, soo is this thing a metric or what??
Pretty sure it's 75-80 foot pounds. And what would the torque be for them little buggers?
72-86 ft/lbs, I torque then to 80 ft/lbsAnd what would the torque be for them little buggers?
Dead post, 3 years old...According to the mower manual, the bolt is 30 mm - 72 to 87 ft-lbs or 98 to 117 N-m. of torque.

THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!but I wouldn't think something that big sees a lot of use.
Skeets, I use the 1 3/16 on my 54" MMM deck blades under my BX. It fits just fine. I use breaker bar to remove and torque wrench to tighten to 75 ft/lbs. Haven't had any problems in 16 years of doing that.OK I got 1 1/4 to big, 1 1/8 to small,, yeah I know 1 3/16 right,, nope it almost fits but is sloppy,, I hate using an adjustable wrench on things if I don't have to,, soo is this thing a metric or what??
