My L6060 has arrived at the dealer and all the extra hydro is being installed now, delivery this Friday to the Fort.
One of the options I got was the Kubota 4-1 bucket for the LA1055 FEL.
Kubota accidentally shipped a standard bucket, dealer resolved and 4-1 will arrive first week of December.

Anyone running a tooth bar on their 4-1?
Like it or ???

I have an email to Piranha for fitment
possibilities, but have to wait until bucket is on the ground for actual discussions and hard measurements.

Thanx!!!

I run a tooth bar on my 4-1 bucket on a L3560. Nice thing about the 4-1 bucket and tooth bar is that you can dig much better. The tooth bar works great as a rake for evenly spreading fill material. Also works nice to rake out roots and larger rocks. You can still get a smooth surface on your fill material by using the back of the bucket bottom corner when back dragging or you can open the 4-1 up and use the straight front edge that becomes available. It’s easy to pick up the trash such as piles of roots or larger rocks you have from back raking or what ever. Or the occasional tree trunk or limb such as when brush hogging. Not as good as a full size grapple for this but really nice for a few items. Works pretty good for post pulling.
One down side is the extra weight of the 4-1 bucket does not allow you to haul as much material at one time as a regular bucket. So for high volume jobs such as filling in a slab with sand for concrete work I usually put the only standard bucket back on.
I do not have a piranha type bar so do not have much info to help on that product.
In general though it’s so handy the 4-1 bucket rarely comes off.
