What range are you traveling/cutting in? If in High, you really should try medium, maybe even low depending on how thick of stuff you're cutting and the slope. Just traveling if I'm in High and go to drive up my slight hill to my parking area mine will bog way down.

Lots of questions... What range and how high is the grass. How steep of a hill?

Hate to ask but did you leave the parking brake partially locked down? (just things to check, I've done that even today!)

Would love to hear more about "....the hydrostatic has been rebuilt." How many hour before it needed it? Basically, it's the first one I've heard of... any idea why?

Sounds like a fuel delivery problem to me.

What RPM are you running in?

Is the fuel tank full?

Sounds like your change fuel filters regularly?

Just a thought - - I think (?) your L3800 has a fuel/water separator housing where the filter is.

If so (?), there have been many cases where the 90-degree fitting on the inlet side of the housing gets jammed with some crap.

Restricts fuel flow.

The others have asked a lot of the same questions I would have asked. Sounds like they're heading in the right direction.
