The video is among several that paint a different portrait of who Stevin John was before he won children's hearts everywhere as Blippi.
In his earlier years, John was no stranger to dark comedy as some of his previous characters included "Turdboy" and "Underwear Man." His comedy bits routinely circled around adult humor that is most certainly not suitable for children.

While he is definitely missing the Orange Tractor....funny story....
I was racing the Mid Atlantic Cyclefest last year. A guy came over to the pit and asked if it was OK if he brought his son by. Astonished that someone would ask first, I said 'ABSOLUTELY!' Cmon down. The boy was maybe 9 or so. Totally infatuated with Blippy. He thought (look at my avatar) that I was Blippi! We crafted a story that I had to race for Blippy because he was busy with the next episode. I let him sit on the bike (start it too!) and took some pics, gave him a temp tattoo, etc....
Regardless of Blippi, I was happy to see a kid excited about motorsports and mechanics and stuff! Anyhoo.... back to our regularly scheduled program.

Never watched him.
The guy did more or less repent/apologize for his early actions in his twenties.

Billions actually. He sold the rights for like $3 Billion a few years ago.
My 2.5 year old loves his tractor/equipment videos.
Maybe HE grew up when he had children of his own…and changed genre’.
I’m fairly certain that most of us have behaved in our previous-lives … which we’d prefer it forgotten and we’d not be known-by.
When I proposed to my DW I told her “There are things in my past I hope I never have to explain to you. But I promise there’ll be nothing in my future to worry about.”
Without taking a breath she replied, “It’s your future I’m interested-in.”
She’s a keeper.
My kids like Blippi. Yeah, he can be a bit annoying, but he also teaches a lot of good information about a wide range of topics. He definately got my kids excited about me getting a tractor; they watched his tractor videos on repeat and essentially petitioned my wife to agree to getting the tractor!
As others have said, he has addressed his past projects and moved on. Lots of good people have done stupid things at somepoint.
