L-275 I am trying to bleed injector pump. I have connected a small elect fuel pump between tank and pump to supply diesel to the pump. With the injector to pump lines removed, fuel pump on, throttle open and engine cranking, no fuel coming thru pump to pump to injector fittings. Any thoughts on why? Also is it harmful to use WD40 in the pump? Thanks for any help.

Not sure if you have an electric solenoid or a manual shut down, either way confirm that it's allowing fuel through.

Any chance you have the newly installed electric fuel pump installed backwards? Or wired backwards so it turns in the wrong direction? Just a couple wild thoughts that came to mind...

Have you tried the opening injector bleed valve?

You don't need an electric fuel pump, just gravity feed fuel to the pump inlet.

Is the injection pump newly installed?

Has it sat empty for a length of time?

More details will help.

i’m not familiar with your machine but very likely you operators manual provides instructions to purge the fuel injection lines. Attached is some guidance copied from another tractor forum.
