Biggest job you have done with your tractor

We had a pile of sand that needed to be moved after our pond was put in. Wanted to do this for years, but didn't have the equipment. The old B9200 really stepped up.
I can't tell you how much I love and am impressed with this tractor.
I don't know how many tons of material it moved.

Lots of competition for that one. Probably fixing the washed out, W shaped private road which included reshaping the road, ditches, and turnouts plus about 180 ton of rock. Then there was the removal and replacement of the retaining wall. And pulling a good sized pine tree out of the pond. Many hours of chipping the several out of control brush piles is up there as well. Couldn’t have done any of those with the antique gassers the L replaced. Might could have done the chipping with the Farmall H but not sure how many times it would have broken down putting that kind of hours on end load on it.

Biggest is probably maintaining my driveway and also the neighborhood unmaintained road. It's feet wide by over a mile. . It takes four passes ... two each direction, minimum.

Other projects, digging out the base for our chicken and duck coops out of the hillside. 14 ft x 40 ft and 10 ft x 24 ft then filling them in with yds of gravel and then yds of arena sand.

Cutting a firewood processing/drop off area and then moving that dirt to the area behind my upper shed to make the level parking area larger for my trailers.

Dug a swimming pool, 35' Long x 15' Wide x 9' Deep at the deep end and 3' deep ar the shallow end. In 1977, with a Kubota B7100 with loader and Gannon scraper. No Backhoe.

I do love my LX2610 but it's a bit more fancy pants compared to a 1970's B7100. That B7100 was a construction grade animal.

Dug up probaly close to 150 sq ft of 10 plus year old BAMBO. Used a bolt on tooth bar on my L3130. 5 plus HR Roots were like CONCRETE

The most material moved would be when we buried a 1,000 gallon LPG tank before the current L4240 was here. Back in the early 90's I built a sand volleyball court. It didn't get much use, so about a dozen years ago we got a twofer. The house has a bank running around the North and West sides. The West side was very steep and not that far from the house. Made sense to place the tank at the base of the bank and fill in/over/around it. Most of the fill came from our underutilized volleyball court. This project was done as we were going from the B7500 to the L3200, so the work was split between them. Now the whole West side can be mowed.

The volleyball court consisted of 70-some tons each of stone base and sand with landscape fabric to keep them separate. First, some of the sand was placed to make a nice base. Then the tank was set and the rest of the sand and stone were placed. Next, a friend brought 4 loads of fill material and then the whole thing was covered with topsoil shaved off the front yard. Near the creek we can mine topsoil, so the area where the volleyball court was removed got skimmed from around a foot or so at the lower end to nothing at the end towards the house. The last work was getting the old volleyball court smoothed out and seeding all the disturbed areas.

The largest work area was turning the adjacent lot into yard. That work was mostly smoothing things out and didn't require much material relocation. There were two empty lots between our place and the BIL's. We each bought one to keep the spaces open. Farm fields on the sides (flood plain) and rear (land locked) of our properties would be nearly impossible to develop.

No huge projects yet, but moved a bit of material. I have a pretty long drive to put in here soon, so that will be a good size job.

Setting up my garden to start. Moved 20 tons of top soil 3 years ago.

Expanded the driveway to make it easier to park and pull the camper in. Took off the sod and spread 20 tons of gravel.

Added another 20 tons of topsoil and 3-4 tons of compost to the garden this year. Spread and tilled in.

My property was really neglected when I moved in, so lots of brush clearing, digging stumps, tree trimming, etc etc. My BX was one of the best purchases I have made. I am pretty amazed at the jobs it allows me to complete in a good amount of time and without killing my back.

Besides all the mowing, snow removal, firewood and chipping, I have moved 330 tonnes of gravel and built one mile of bush road with my B2620. And backfilled the new septic.
