Big problem with my loader LA344

Today while removing my loader it got snagged under a rubber mat and ended up engaging some dirt/stones as I was trying to remove it from the tractor. As a result I had a very botched removal and the end result is that the couplers on the loader will not reach the couplers on the tractor. Is there a safe way I can jack up the loader arms to align the quick connect couplers. I was thinking a Jack Stand. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Engine hoist or another tractor would be my first choice. If you go with jacks watch where you put your fingers.....

If you have away to use a come along over head? That may work? That way you can get under the loader. Good luck...

You never put the loader stand down.

A couple of strong guys should be able to lift the back of the loader arms high enough so you can release the support stands and hold the arms up. You may need to get that rubber mat out if it is preventing the bucket from tipping forward as the arms are lifted.

Lesson learned: always deploy the support stands first! Not to worry, "stuff happens" to everyone!

If you haven't done this yet, I will add one thing. Take the bucket off to make it lighter to lift.

I’m not sure what that black bucket is doing, but you certainly don’t want anything pushing up on the fully extended cylinder at its mid point. (Easy way to bend the cylinder rod.)

If you are just wanting the cylinders to move then you can just disconnect the ends of the hoses and move the cylinder by hand.

You could also buy some hoses with the correct connections and use them for extensions between the tractor and loader.

But just getting the loader back up off the ground is probably the best. I would try using a come-a-long and straps from above to get it done

thanks everyone for your help. I ended up calling the service guy from my local shop. He came out and did a couple of the things that were suggested here. What was interesting was that something I thought was major and lost some sleep over turned out to be a minor issue. I do have to say I have very helpful Kubota dealership in my area.
