Hi everyone. I got the tractor back about 2 weeks ago. They just told me they replaced some o-rings. No more leaks and I used the tractor for a full day last Monday after we got hit with 18 inches of snow. Everything worked fine, stabilizers stayed up.

on a side note, It was a real pain to get the grapple off to put on the bucket. The flat-face skid steer valves (I think that’s what they are called) wouldn’t budge until I put a heat gun in them. It’s been hanging around 0 degrees here, so I’m assuming they were just frozen. Even after I got them disconnected it took a while for the retracted sleeve to ‘pop’ back into place.

I had my right hip replaced yesterday so I don’t think I’ll be doing any tractor work for the next couple of weeks. Do you think it’s a good idea to go out and start the tractor maybe once a week?

Hang in there with the hip. If you have to do rehab winter is a good time of the year for it.

Did they tell you where those o-rings are located? WAG - in the stabilizer cylinder(s).

WWII tankers warmed their tanks up daily and often ran them all night. If its good for a Panzer....

Which reminds me - mine (tractor not tank) needs a boost and moved back inside
