Finally got around to making a dolly for my BH92 backhoe. I couldn't find any plans online, so I bought a few sticks of 2" x 2" tubing, and used some scrap around the shop to make my own. It rolls around the shop extremely easily and is very sturdy. I'm not a professional welder, so don't look too closely!

Thanks! The double caster wheels are super heavy duty and help it turn very easily. I'll probably throw a quick coat of paint on this summer.
Paint ?? Your design is very similar to the one I built for my BH77 a few years ago. It still needs a clean up for a paint job!!

You can see my build Here I have my BH resting at an angle on a stand so that I can easily roll it right up to the tractor and over the mounting hooks without needing to first hook up hydraulics to use the outriggers to lift the hoe up to proper height. For removing the hoe, you do need to use the outriggers, of course.

There's also a couple of stops on the stand that help locate and keep the hoe in place when install/remove operations are being performed.

Our designs look very similar. I like the alignment posts, and angling the rear portion to slide the bottom pegs into the hooks, Thanks for the ideas!

Very nice setup for that BH92! Those are heavy backhoes, approaching 2,000 lbs for the hoe and the subframe. Talk about rear ballast! Mine - an older model, but similar - sat on cribbing timbers when not in use. Never liked that but didn't have the imagination to build what you did. Very cool!
