"seat support on my BH77" meaning the tractor's rotating seat, for the BH77, not "on the bh77"?
"while bush hogging" presumably means the BH was disconnected.

It’s Not part of the backhoe. It’s the seat base that they put on the tractor to replace the original one, when you install a backhoe on the tractor. It comes with the backhoe so that you can raise and turn around the seat to operate the backhoe. It stays on the tractor permanently regardless of whether you have the backhoe attached or not.Looks fixable with a welder, but it seems like pretty thin metal. MIG maybe?
