Recently purchased a 3240 with the Bh75 B-hoe (very low hours)
This is the 3rd time the bucket cylinder has bent with less than ten minutes of usage trying to dig up red tip bushes. Had a machine shop straighten and put a two inch stop to reduce travel but cylinder bent again. Local dealer says there was a problem with those cylinders but basically the replacement time is up. Twelve hundred dollars for the updated cylinder which the diameter increases from a twenty eight mm to an thirty three diameter. Has anybody had this problem and will the bh75a cylinder fix my problem?

Thanks

I bent the bucket rod on my old 4520. Local shop made up a custom new induction hardened rod (25mm) for about $200. Should be largely unbendable in this application. Used the old cylinder and a new Kubota seal kit. Talk to your local cylinder shop for cheap options.

No, my BH is a B/L4520B (a Woods 650-2 built for Kubota) and it uses an oddball sized cylinder, parts are no longer available except for the complete assembly for $800. Local shop saved me $600.
