Dan, you’re right. Those parts add up quick. Can you recommend a replacement valve? Thank you!
I don't know squat about that loader and I just did a quick scan of the parts diagrams but I don't think it would be a lot of fabrication work to retrofit this. Kubotafreak should have a better idea of what's involved.

sad...looks like someone tried brazing it in the past, it's soooo rusty though,I don't see any oil on it.
Maybe better to spend $400 on OEM than $400 on 'bodging' it ?

great you found it ! Hope you oil or 'rustchek' it ,often. From the pictures in your post, seems nobody did for a long time and/or it'd been left outside 'forever'....

I doubt that joystick kit will work with your valve. It is made specifically for Bailey's 10 GPM G series monoblock valves. Many OEMs make those joystick kits for their valves and they are not interchangeable.

That may or may not fit, it does look very similar to your old one.

Just as a watch out. I think the original valve may have been replaced. I expected your BF900 to be very similar to my BT900, but my valve doesn't look like your pictures, so I looked up the parts diagram on Messick's.

The diagram shows a sectional valve and yours is monoblock, the diagram shows a fork end on the spool and yours is a spade. And that 'assembly':) in your picture doesn't look like mine.

I'm just pointing this out that even OEM parts may not work on your machine. With luck, your valve is a Bailey and the actuator you found will work.

Heres a picture of mine with the cover off. I think yours originally was the same (less the third section).

That is not a Bailey G series valve. The G series are P40 clones and have an entirely different casting.

I would suggest he just bite the bullet and replace the valve.

I would take the $100 bet and see if it works.

You’re right. Mine doesn’t look like that at all. I didn’t see any markings on my valve other than the attached.

That is a very vanilla valve - 4 way 3 position on both spools with power beyond. It does not even have float on the boom. The $250 Summit joystick loader valve would actually be sn upgrade.
