I have two ways to move trailers around now, just did a lot of it on a big welding project. My fork lift attachment for the L3301 came with a 2" receiver build right into the QA frame, but to properly use it you need to remove the forks first. This got old quick, as what I was doing needed forks AND a way to move the trailers.
So I made a little slip on attachment for the front of one fork, this takes about 5 seconds to slip on and off, with one bolt going through the hole I burned into the fork tip to secure it. In my case this also had the advantage of allowing me to "stand off" a ways from the trailer tongue, as the load I was moving around the yard was over length. This setup is working fine for me, but of course being at the end of my 48" fork I keep the loading down to an acceptable level, for a heavy loaded trailer move I still use the QA frame receiver hitch. It keeps the loading nice and close to the FEL pins. I never considered a rear hitch of any type as I didn't want to mess with taking an implement off first.
