Hello - I've had a multi-week rather frustrating experience trying to buy either a L2501 or LX2610 here in the norcal area. Looking to get a FEL, grapple, QA, and BH. Called a bunch of dealerships in the sacramento region, some don't respond after leaving messages, others have been giving me the "I'll sell you what's on the lot" response when asking about things like adding a BH. Called corporate in TX to see if they had a dealer manager who might know the best dealership with appropriate inventory, the CS agent basically told me to pound sand or just call all the dealers. In sum, I guess I'm asking myself why I have to fight so hard to spend money. Does anyone here know of a dealership that wants ~ $40k in the norcal region? I'd even be willing to go out of state at this point. Any advice would be greatly appreciated if there's a "best practice" to getting a dealership to call back, thanks!

hmmm... disappointing to hear that all 20+ northern California Dealerships are so difficult to deal with.

just a thought....maybe try a different brand if your needs and personal style not met by Kubota?

FWIW...had similar experience here in Northern NV trying to buy an L2501 back in '22.
Contacted NorCal Tractor, Gold County Tractor, Garton, NV Power Products and a small local NV dealership, Smith Valley Garage.
Had the best response and price from the local Dealership, ended up buying from SV Garage...did have to wait a while, but they were very good to work with...My contact was Mark Phillips

Good luck!

It has been a while but I had a great experience at Dolk Tractor in Rio Vista. Family business. They cater to the big at guys but had time for me and all my questions…

Doll Tractor in Rio Vista. Small family run dealership. Talk to Tony. I have always found their prices hard to beat. You may also try Garton Tractor in Stockton as they just became the Kubota dealer as of May 1st. They may be hungry. Talk to Guy Thompson. Good luck

I live in Nevada City and had the same issue with local Sacramento/Auburn/Grass Valley dealers.

I bought my tractor from Garton in Merced...about 2 1/2 hour drive.

re: others have been giving me the "I'll sell you what's on the lot"

This is TRUE around here for new pickups....so not just tractors. However I can get into there computer and see actual stock at dealerships across Canada.
