I backed into a hole and bent the tailwheel fork spindle on my 326-668H Land Pride brush hog.
Anyone had luck straightening this? worried about weakening it.

Anybody with a big press can put it back no worries ,,,, but then again it might depend on how bad it is bent too

I've straightened some and replaced some. It depends upon the extent of the damage.

You may find that the cost of a new tail wheel fork is not much more than the cost of straightening your damaged one.

I'd pull it out, heat up the pin and try to bend it back. If it's really knackered cut off the pin with a torch and weld a new one on. It's probably mild steel so not much to worry about. At worst you will end up buying a new assembly.

Put in in a press and straightened it with no problems. Works great now.

Thanks all for the info.
