I was clearing a fallen tree a few weeks ago and one limb popped up and got my rear fender. Thankfully it did not get the hydraulic feed hose.

There is a fairly heavy crease as seen from the side.

And a frontal view. I know that this is just a battle scar, but I had to do something.

Enter the Porta-Power.

Pushing it out.

Ain't purdy but better than it was.

I'll go back with my hammer/dolly before I sand/wire brush and paint.

Function over form. You can tell your kids or grandkids it was kicked by a Sasquatch

We had Great Granddaughters visiting this afternoon so my "dimple dinging" will have to wait until next week.

Consider it a badge of honor… They’re machines that earn their keep!

Good looking machines are always worth more. Some hammer and dolly work plus a bit of paint will cost very little. I would be doing the same.

So today I used my dolly and dinging hammer to straighten the crimped edge seen in the 5th picture above. It's wrinkled because the edge is stretched, but I say that I am ready to sand & prime. I actually did a bit more work after I took the picture.
