This is worth a new thread... The Husco valve that has been giving me fits is fixed....once and for all.

We x-rayed the monoblock stripped down to just the block.... no cracks, broken pieces, or blocked internal honey comb. So we took the spool and chucked it in a lathe and analyzed its "trueness".

THE SUCKER WAS BENT .003" on the lift side of the "B" end. My buddy a machinist took about a half hour to true it up. Another 30 minutes to assemble and reinstall on the B2410.

Works like brand new!

Thanks for all your patience and support during this ordeal... or at least that is what my wife is calling it. She said I was obsessed in that I'd get up in the middle of the night to research a possible remedy... I told he she would not understand.... YOU HAVE TO BE A TRACTOR GUY.

Then she said with a smirk, "There is no such thing as a tractor guy...."

I brought out the big guns and showed her the OTT site.

She just shook her head and mumbled under her breath there was no hope for our species...

She really got miffed when I suggested orange fingernail polish...

Life goes on.....

Just remember one thing.... "Life is too short to hunt with an ugly gun".

Now I know why you're staying in Ohio :D

Heck, I'd live in Death Valley for that

NOW, I just have to figure out how to tell her we are married, and explain how she doesnt remember the wedding, or the reception, or the honeymoon, or the wedding shower, or uh, me...

Not to mention, if my REAL wife reads this thread, there will be a WHOLE other round of explaining to do, and twenty minutes later, when I regain conciousness, she will probably explain, (educate), to me I am not morman!!!

Ah yes , my problem ;) ... The fact that I'm married :p ...

Just kidding, I am happily married to a great woman. You can see a picture of her cheering up in the thread. She is the second one back to the left :p .

P.S. Don't let my REAL wife see this  !

All is fine guys... just been busy running here and there trying to put together applejack mash. Got hooked up at a local supermarket to scarf up the daily throwaways and much to my amazement... the apples were still in perfect condition. I looked in to it a bit farther and they throw a butt load of really good produce away every day.

I am trying to work through our Lions club to make sure this food is rescued from a sure demise in a dumpster and get it on a daily basis to our local food bank. All I ask in return is a couple of bushels here and there to feed my still.

That is what I have been up to...

Butch

PS.... Scott, I passed the orange fingernail polish idea past my 11yo grand daughter... shot down on all counts:(... Go figure:eek:.
