Battery Lawn Mower. would you buy one?
Well the old Toro has Worked for years, but now its end of life. I am thinking about buying an EGO from Home Depot.

pros
They are light
They can store vertically
They cost next to nothing to run
No Fussing with gas and oil.
"geen" compared to gas
Support innovation for the future

Cons
No much Iron in her
Battery life while mowing
Battery life itsself
cut quality
durability

Thoughts?

My two cents... Are you going battery with Anything else? I have the toro power head and the Ryobi Expand-it attachments. I wanted a battery mower to mow close around ornamental tress and gardens, and use the BX for the real mowing jobs. I bought the Ryobi 40v mower because I have a bunch of the 18v One+ tools and love them, and the 40V power head takes all of the ExpandIt attachments, so I can use the small roto-tiller, weed wacker, hedge trimmer, pole saw, and not have to deal with the 2-Stroke gas head. 40V battery will switch out with the one from the mower in case I need more battery life on either tool. The mower is also so light that I can fold the handle and hang the dang thing in the shed to keep it off the floor. Pretty cool item!

In-laws and neighbors both have battery operated weed eaters and blowers. Lawn mower would probably work decent if you have a small lot.

Not sure about longevity though.

You might consider a robotic mower. I have a Husqvarna 450X on my 1.25 acre lawn (I figured the B20 with a finish mower compacted the lawn soils too much). No muss, no fuss ... returns to charger by itself! You could leisurely sip beverages on the patio while the neighbors fuss over fuel, lubrication, clippings, noise, time, maintenance, etc., ... and even can check on it from work (phone app). Sorry, but you'd still be left with trimming and edging every other week or so.
