My stop solenoid burned up last fall when I was washing my tractor to store it for winter. I have not replaced the solenoid and have just been using the stop lever to shut off the tractor. Would not having a solenoid on the tractor cause a short and drain the battery? I’m thinking not but I have not been able to track down any burnt wires other than what is on the stop solenoid. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

If the solenoid was removed, it can't drain the battery BUT if you left it connected, yes it is possible for a 'burned up' solenoid to drain the battery.
it's also possible that there's damage to the wiring allowing small current to flow and that'll drain the battery.
You'll have to closely look at all the wiring near where the solenoid was,especially any/all connectors. Water in them can easily cause 'shorting' issues...lightly draining the battery.

Your tractor will have a timer relay. On your model power is supplied to the stop solenoid not to allow the engine to run but rather to stop the engine. The relay, when certain safety switch(es) call for it or you turn the key off, the timer relay powers the stop solenoid for a few seconds to allow the engine to stop.
If it has malfunctioned it could be a battery drain. The fact that the stop solenoid burned means the timer must have caused or been affected.
The WSM illustration if not very clear for me to tell you where to look for the relay.

How old is your battery? Could be that it has a dead cell and won't hold a charge. You might not have a 'parasitic' draw at all. So check your battery as well.

Another possible source of 'parasitic' drain is the alternator with built in regulator, if tractor is so equipped. That was always an issue when I went offroad and got mud under the hood of the CJ-5s
I found a relay on the fire wall that intermittently made a buzzing sound, similar to the sound you hear while welding, when I touched it. I don’t have experience with these but I feel that is not normaL Going to replace that and my stop solenoid to see if that takes care of my problem.
If you found a relay that buzzes when the key is 'Off' then you have found a reason for the battery to discharge.
The relay may be fine but something is causing it to buzz.
Disconnect the relay and see if the battery stays up.
Just changing parts on a guess is inefficient but eventually you will solve it that way.

For electrical drain concerns I use an infrared camera as any thing drawing power will emit heat. Fix a lot of issues with my camera and now the other techs don't laugh as they have spent 2 plus hours testing and looking for drain. Finally they grab my camera and within 2 minutes hear "What the HELL" that time it was a side detection module in the rear bumper that was the drain.
