New to the forum. I ran a BX2660 for several years and I had rear wheel spacers and wheel weights on it and it was quite stable. I have just bought an LX3310. I needed a little larger tractor or I possibly just wanted a larger tractor. The wheels on the LX do not have holes to mount weights, but I could install spacers and have the tires filled. I have heard that the cabs can make a tractor a little more tippy and my property is a little hilly. How wide of spacers to actually be effective and should all four tires be filled or only the rear? Any advice would be appreciated.

Are you going to be running a MMM on it?
If not the widest you want to go is your choice.
Filling the ears are the only thing that helps stability.

Thanks for replying. No, I won't be running a MMM. Loader work, brush hogging, grading, and snow removal will primarily what I use the tractor for. I'm from north Idaho too.

I put 2.5" Bora spacers on my lx2610 and that puts the rear tires just within the width of the bucket. I can definitely feel the difference in stability.

For loader work you will want something on the 3 point. A heavy box blade with some added weight will serve as a better functioning box blade and double as ballast for loader work.

I have the rear tires filled and ~725lbs. In the ballast box. That combo seems to work well for my LX2610. For hilly property, rear spacers are your friend when looking for additional stability. However, still try to go up and down the hills whenever possible.
