I normally wear headphones operating the tractor. Two days ago I was driving without and suddenly noticed that I get the BEEP BEEP BEEP while driving forward AND reverse. The other oddity is that I suddenly have to apply the hand brake to start the tractor now.

Is the driving alarm normal and I've never noticed it before or do I have something going on I need to check out? No alarms on the intellipanel.

I think I answered my own question - the hand brake issue was the swivel seat switch sticking.

Looking up the alarm circuit, it's tied into the creep mode lever for backhoe use. I'm guessing I have another sticky switch I need to look into.

I have an L47 (baby brother to yours) and both behaviors are tied to the swivel seat switch not in "forward" position. I think you just have 1 switch to check for.

There’s a back-up alarm on my Ferguson Compactor/Roller. It doesn’t work. I don’t need it. I know when I’m backing up. (And the machine is bass-ackwards anyway.... easier to steer driving in that direction.)
After I bought the machine and got it home it took me almost an entire minute to find my linesman pliers to cut the alarm’s ground-wire and shut that thing off.
