Just curious and maybe someone can share some information on this. I have been told woods makes the backhoes for kubota what i am wondering is if this is so then why wouldnt the same backhoe that would work on the bx25 not work on the 2370 if a subframe is put on the 2370

I am sure someone tat has more experience will respond with a better answer, but from my understanding it is the subframe isn't an add on by part. The Woods will have a sub frame to add on. I am sure there is a better or more complete answer, in the end on a BX you either get the 25D or go 3rd party. Hope this helps.

For the BX Kubota does not sell the backhoe and subframe separately. Either you buy the BX25D or have to buy 3rd party BH

Recently asked dealer about woods BH. It is $7250 installed on my BX2370. They also have a faded one (pinkish) for $1K less

Contrary to the rumor you heard, Kubota makes its own backhoes and front end loaders, even for the little BX tractor. If you look first hand at the Kubota BH's, particularly on the larger tractors, it's apparent they aren't the same as what Woods offers.

As others indicate, if you want a factory Kubota backhoe for a BX, you have to buy the BX25 (or a decent used one - BX22, BX23, etc.). The BX25 is very similar to the non-backhoe BX models, but not exactly the same. It has a swivel seat, hydraulic plumbing and reinforcements to the tractor chassis to accomodate a backhoe (beyond the backhoe subframe, by the way). Having owned a non-backhoe BX for about 10 years, I have looked at the little Woods backhoe for BX's more than once. Seems to be a decent alternative setup, but it's not the same as starting out with a BX25 to begin with. The lack of a backhoe is about the only regret I've had with my BX; it has been a reliable workhorse in every other respect.

I have spoken to a woods rep the other day and he said woods doesnt make a subframe for the bx2370 but the bx 2660 subframe does work on it, the rep said they have not 100% verified it but some dealerships verified they done it. This is the route i plan to go,
I guess i was just given false information on who makes the backhoes
