The L185DT came with a K650 backhoe. It was a 3 pt hitch attachment, with a PTO driven pump and self contained reservoir.
I still have the K650 sitting in my garage, although I just sold the tractor. Plan is to rework the swing system, and use it on the new L3200.
A few comments:
Hydraulics being what they are (powerful), the 3 pt hitch hookup was not enough to stabilize the backhoe. I quickly added support beams from the 3 pt lift arms back to the upper support at the tractor. The beam Kubota supplied merely bent up the lift arms.
The K650 stabilizers were not much good. I had to build new ones like you see on "real" backhoes.
The swing system is like a bow-string and stick fire started you made as a boy scout. I have broken more master links in the supplied chains than I could ever count.
Having said all of that, the backhoe itself is a work horse. Once I redo the swing, I hope to get many more hours of use on the new tractor.
I can supply a cut sheet, and copy the owner's manual of the K650 if you need it.
