Backhoe failure

New BX23S, had a massive loss of oil caused by a ruptured hose to the backhoe swing cylinder. It looks like it was incorrectly assembled and rubbing hard against the edge of the frame. According to the parts diagram both hoses should be routed together to the right. Has anybody else had the same problem?

I hope that is under warranty !?! Does seem like a hose routing problem for sure.

Sounds like it is a warrantee issue.

I would call it a hose failure rather than a backhoe failure. I have had a couple hoses fail on my backhoe over the years but never considered it a backhoe failure. Maybe just me...

I was just looking at the way my hoses were routed on my bx23s and it doesn’t look like your picture

New 23S here, only tested mine, haven't really used it, painted over zerks.

x2 on the hose failure! Had a hose go on my disk last year and pumped most of the 15 gals of UDT2 overboard on my M5-091. That was "massive" amounts of money to replace from my perspective...
