Hello all,

Just recently rebuilt a hydrolic cylinder on backhoe on my B6100 and I still have some creep. It seems it creeps about an inch or so then stops. My question is, is this normal and if not what else might it be. i was wondering if there may still be some air in the lines or if it could be a valve issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also this is my first post but i've been creeping for a while. I picked up alot off the forum and pretty much figured out other issues by creeping, but with this prob. i figured i need to register and get some suggestions on this particular problem. Thanks for any help, im sure there will be more questions to come, as I only got it about 4 mths ago and the only Kubota i ever worked on.:)

Im not a tractor mechanic and have only worked on a hand full of em. But i am an aircraft mechanic and can offer a little advice but aircraft can be a little more complex so i could be wrong lol. If it only creeps an inch or so i would say its maybe a check valve staying open till it gets enough reverse flow to close or its in your control valve. I wouldnt think its the cylinder if it stops after an inch. But first i would make sure you bleed the system good and then go from there. Could just be air compressing. If you could post some pics of your hoe i would like to see it and what model. Just for my info.

I checked it this morn and it only was down and inch or so. I called the dealer and they said to use it for a while and let the seals absorb oil, enough to swell. They said if it was a valve it would be on the ground. Im gunna run it and use it for a while and see what happens. I now one thing, its not near as bad as it was before i rebuilt the cylinder.
