Well there I am, getting ready to remove General Jackson from General Lee.

I have to use the box blade to smooth out some "divots" that "#1 grandson" left when grandpa let him do some "practice digging".

It's been quite some time since I removed the BH, but I didn't think much of it.

However, .....those pins were ......shall we say.....ummmm....stubborn.

The last time I removed Jackson the pins simply pushed out using one finger.

Today, it took a considerable amount of "persuading" to get them out.

I am going to use grease when it goes back on.

Here is the General Lee "naked".

Damn glad I marked those arms too.

Too bad I forgot to connect those lateral arms first. dooohhhhh

It's no wonder I only get 20% of the things I have on my list done per day......Everything takes 300% longer than I budgeted for .....

Finally.

Never before had I thought I would ever like to see General Lee naked, but if I am being honest, I think I enjoyed it more than I probably should.😉

I do mine so infrequently, I watch a video and bring manual to the spot.

Mine is coming off in the morning for the 1st brushing cut of the year on the upper 40. I have it down to a Pit stop, splash of Sunoco and 4 tires...... me covered in un-fresh grease.
