I bought last winter a B8200HST-D tractor and this winter have lost the steering in it. My guess is that the bearing on the bottom got a little bit of water in it, flew apart and ruined the worm gear and the shaft. There were bearings everywhere, and surface rust mid way down the shaft once I got inside to peak at everything. I have searched exhaustively looking for the ball nut assembly, lower bearing, and all the seals and plugs that go along the top of the column tube. The steering sector looks good. Anybody know if parts from the series above or below the B8200 will work? From my perspective, if the bolts will line up on the base, the steering shaft angle and length are close, I'm in. Thanks for any and all information you have!!!
